| It is amazing that we are into March and slowly getting into the Spring season. In Hawaii, the latter half of this month will be another break for educational institutions taking a short break for the beginning of Spring. There is a lot of green around us and certainly the blooms and blossoms are also showing up. Please do enjoy what nature has to share with us during these times and spend enough time outdoors and drink up on the joys of the season. The Hawaii Legislative session is in full swing and this is the time when it is crucial to express our opinions and voices on matters that are important to us. Please do consider being involved in this process. The Hawaii Government website is user friendly and guides through the process of following bills and submission of testimony. | LOTUS UPCOMING EVENTS Holi celebrations will be on March 15th. We will be celebrating Holi on March 15th at the Ka’ala Neighborhood Park (130 California Ave, Wahiawa, HI) starting with lunch around 2 pm after the conclusion of the pooja at the Wahiawa Shiva Temple. We are looking for volunteers to help with various chores on that day at the Park starting with set up of Tables and Tents starting around 1230 pm.. We will also be happy to take donations from the attendees towards underwriting the event. LOTUS will provide the colors for the event. | Temple Activities (Wahiawa Shiva Temple, 108 California Ave, Wahiawa) – March 15th, 2026 Our monthly pooja will start promptly 11.30 am to try and finish our prayers by 2 pm. We welcome all the attendees of the Holi festival to join us at least at the Aarthi. Prof Bhawuk will be officiating with assistance from Arup. We will also be broadcasting the pooja on Zoom.
