| Namaste everyone. We have stepped into 2022 and rapidly are coming up to the end of February. Although we are learning to live with a new norm, there is still a lot of anxiety about the ongoing pandemic. Even as I recap our activities for 2021, our leadership has decided to set the tone to help our community move forward in a safe manner not only for the Temple Poojas but also for other traditional cultural and community events sponsored by LOTUS. LOTUS supported many community organizations with monetary support last year including Aloha Harvest, KauKau4Keiki and the Kokua Kalihi Valley Health Center Family Centered programs. We ended the year with a virtual Diwali Program, A Diwali celebratory lunch and End of the Year fund raising campaign. In addition to our monthly pooja on February 20th at noon, we will have our annual Maha Shivratri pooja at the Wahiawa temple on February 28th at noon. Both these events will also be broadcast on Zoom as Dr. Bhawuk will perform the pooja virtually. Please see below for the zoom links for the event which we anticipate to be open between noon and about 2.15 p.m. We will also be celebrating Holi at the Ka’ala District Park following the the Monthly pooja on March 20th. We also hope to be celebrating our Annual Temple initiation function in April on 17th. Please mark these days on your calendar and plan to attend the function and festivities We hope that you will continue to support our ongoing community engagement activities and continue to support us with Monetary donations to the extent that you can afford. |
| Temple Activities – February 20th and 28th This month in addition to our regular pooja on the 20th, we will also be celebrating Shivartri on February 28th. We hope you will join us in person as we really did start the year in January with a great attendance from our devotees.
