Dear LOTUS Ohana:
At the urging of some community members, the Board of LOTUS is embarking on an ambitious end of the year fundraising campaign.
The Board is pledging a match of up to five thousand dollars to the amount raised from our community in the next ten days (through Jan 6th, 2021) for a total fund raising goal of ten thousand dollars.
The goal of this fund raising effort will be to support individual families and/or communities in need of support during these difficult times. LOTUS leadership plans to work with Community organizations including various Federally Qualified Health Centers to assess the needs and provide maximum impact of these donated dollars. We will also make an assessment of how to support individual family needs primarily targeting food support during these difficult times.
We believe that this short targeted campaign has potential for maximum benefit during these challenging times.
No amount is too small to support this campaign and we would hope you will share this communications with your friends to widen the potential for a successful campaign. You can also direct your friends to our website to review information about this campaign and to donate.
