A very Big Thank You

Dear LOTUS Ohana:

As the twelve days of Christmas draw to a close, so does a very successful targeted campaign by our organization for Fundraising Ten thousand dollars for support of Our community during these difficult times.

Even as I write this note to you, all of the matching dollars put up by the LOTUS Board have been met by donations from the community and we have surpassed our goal.  A total of 27 individuals and families donated/pledged between $25 and $1000 to help us reach this goal and I am immensely grateful for this support from the LOTUS Ohana and some friends outside of our regular circles.

This weekend will be our first support targeting needy community with the use of these dollars. We will be putting together 150 packages of food supply to support a family for four for several days of sustenance.  As mentioned in my previous mail, we are partnering with Aloha Harvest in this endeavor.

I end this communication with Best Wishes for this coming year with the hope that as a community we will have collaborative approaches to many more community directed activities of support this year.
